CEMETERY URN "Suffer The Fallen"

This is album #5 for Aussie death squad CEMETERY URN so they must have a considerable following. On "Suffer The Fallen", they prove that they are a legit ugly and raw death metal outfit, but past that, there is very little about this release that registers.
This is extremely generic stuff, to the point where it's hard to find much to say about it. The songs rip like chainsaws, with cavernous roaring vocals and thunderous drumming. But there is nothing very memorable about them and seconds after each track finished, I was already well on the way to forgetting pretty much everything about them. "Savage Torment" and "Rooms of Depravity" emerge as the best of the lot, with slightly more memorable riffs and good use of shifting tempos. But even these are not anything that will linger in your head.
This is just another typical death metal release in a sea of such efforts, bringing nothing new to the table.
