I would say this is one of their most brutal, thrashing albums, but that is true for all Tankard albums. I am not disappointed in any of their releases. But wow, they come right out of the gates with track 1, “War Cry”, and just rip your head off with their thrashing riffs, echoing lead vocals, and blistering fast drums.

Another track that stands out is “Breakfast For Champions”. Can you believe these guys have not made a song by this title in all their years of beer-metal expertise? All kinds of influences apparent here, Judas Priest, Forbidden, Exodus, ect. It is a very sharp song and I could listen to it on my way to work every morning, of course without a beer in between my legs as I drive…

There are no slow filler songs or anything to disappoint any metal fan on this. Tracks like “Clockwise to Deadline”, and “The Party Ain’t Over ‘Til We Say So”, will prove to be metal classics in the future, I am sure. Yes, there are some familiarities here and there, but that is what most Tankard fans would want, including me. The musicianship is just amazing and in my opinion they just keep getting better with age and are showing it with this newest addition to their beer guzzling collection.
