What a cool CD this is. It's based on a riff-driven retro-rock sound, but pumped up with modern metallic elements.  At times I hear Led Zeppelin in the mix on tunes like the hard-charging opener "Light of the Sun" and the more epic "The Time Is Now".  Other songs like "Rift" and "Sweet Kaos" make me think of Hawkwind. It's a great combination of classic and more modern hard rock influences.  You'll hear echoes of Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath and the Beatles in here as well. All of it is woven into a tapestry that is original, powerful and creative...a great debut album.

The band features Bob Pantella and Jim Baglino from Monster Magnet, so you know pro quality is assured.
