PROF. JOCKO

PROFESSOR JOCKO

I’ve been teaching for professionally for 10 years at The Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg, IL. I am originally from Rhinelander, WI and live in DeKalb, IL on campus at Northern Illinois University.

I'm a big music fan, and like going to concerts. I usually see about five large-venue shows a year. My musical background consists of being in various cover bands for roughly 20 years, on and off. I also played a bass clarinet during 4 years of my adolescent years, so I was able to read music at one time.

My musical interests consist mostly of rock and heavy metal. I have a little bit of everything in my music collection that go from the BeeGee's to Lionel Ritchie, but the largest portions in my CD racks are taken up by Slayer, Black Sabbath & Elvis. Judas Priest, AC/DC & Pantera take a close second place.

I sing for a "mainstream-metal" cover band locally just for fun...nothing too serious, though. We have a myspace page set up if you want to check it out. Go to http://www.myspace.com/hitmanrockband

My hobbies and outside interests include tattooing and riding my Harley Davidson.
