The PHILM PHREAKS section here at WORMWOOD is flowing over with new articles! We've got no less than 3 updates for you this time around. The inscrutable DARK STARR brings us a pair of fascinating mini-reviews. First, he looks at the fun cheapy "ASSAULT OF THE SASQUATCH", where a brutal Bigfoot traps an odd assortment of characters in an almost-abandoned police station! Then he turns his attention to the unique DVD "TREK STARS GO WEST", which collects early appearances of actors from the original "Star Trek" in Westerns. This includes the indescribable "White Comanche" featuring WILLIAM SHATNER! Check out the Sasquatch HERE and the Trek DVD HERE.
Then yours truly, Dr. Abner Mality, takes a close look at a most unusual project, "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: REANIMATED", which takes the venerable zombie classic and turns it into an avant-garde animation madhouse featuring the work of over 100 different artists. Get my take on this truly unusual DVD right HERE!
It's also Torture Chamber time again and this time we have a very eclectic bunch, ranging from freezingly obscure black metal from Quebec to vintage Bay Area thrash to classic stoner rock. The latest selections:
