WE SALUTE SOMETHING WEIRD'S MIKE VRANEY +ARCHIVE ISSUE SOLVED!

Greetings, Worm-scum! This week, we have a solemn duty we need to perform...we pay tribute to a fallen warrior and inspiration, Mr. MIKE VRANEY! If you don't know who he is, shame on you, but we shall enlighten you. Mike passed away earlier this year in a shocking demise. He was the founder and mastermind of the SOMETHING WEIRD video company, which devoted itself to saving and promoting films that the rest of society considered garbage...stuff like "Scum of the Earth", "The Gore-Gore Girls", "Wilbur and the Baby Factory" and my personal favorite, "The Godmonster of Indian Flats"! Yep, Mike was a protector and historian of film oddities and cinematic trash and therefore a very important personage in the history of Wormwood. So with a tear in our eyes, JENS HELLROUTE, SOLOMON G and myself talk about the life and legacy of Mike Vraney and you can read our tribute HERE.

About a month ago, it came to my attention that most of the articles we had posted at WC in the last year weren't making it into our enormous archives. I contacted Wormwood's resident tech guru SCARY DAN, who came up with a solution in no time. Now THAT is a mad scientist! You can now find formerly absent epics like our interviews with PHIL ANSELMO, QUEENSRYCHE and EYEHATEGOD, along with tributes to SVENGOOLIE and RAY HARRYHAUSEN in our Philm Phreak section. To say nothing of a ton of CD reviews in the Torture Chamber. Thanks again, Scary!

And now for this week's Torture Chamber, which has some pretty critical reviews this week...
